It’s frustrating to hear that the contactless rollout to stations including Stansted Airport has been delayed – and potentially until next summer. We’ve been calling for this change to be made for several years now, so it’s not ideal that passengers will find they have to wait even longer.
We urge the train operators to ensure that communications to passengers about this delay are clear and honest so people don’t continue to get caught out when travelling to the airport.
