Michael Roberts, Chief Executive
Michael Roberts joined London TravelWatch as Chief Executive in January 2023. He has 30 years’ experience in advocacy and influencing public policy, much of it relating to transport. He was director-general at the Rail Delivery Group and chief executive at the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC), following a long career at the CBI which included developing and representing the views of business on transport. He is also a former Chief Executive at Water UK and a former Board member at The Carbon Trust. His favourite way of getting about London is on foot.
Mags Croucher, Senior Casework Officer
Mags joined London TravelWatch in 2009 and enjoys being able to help passengers get a fair hearing from the operators. Before this, Mags worked in a customer services role for a train company, both as a call agent and letter writer for an outsourced centre for the railway industry, administrator in two publishing firms and sales assistant for two well known china brands. In her spare time, Mags enjoys cross stitch, crocheting, knitting and meeting up with friends old and new.
Sean Goss, Casework Officer
Sean has worked for London TravelWatch for almost four years. He handles appeals with the rest of the casework team and enjoys obtaining satisfactory outcomes on behalf of passengers despite our limitations. Prior to joining London TravelWatch, Sean worked in a Customer Service role with Transport for London as a call centre agent and correspondence officer. In his spare time, Sean enjoys sports, gaming, and socialising with friends.
Susan James, Head of Casework
Susan has worked for London TravelWatch for 15 years in various roles representing passenger appeals. Susan has managed many different ‘transport’ type roles in her career, is a proud Londoner and a passionate supporter of the consumer experience using the capital’s public transport network.

Trevor Rosenberg, Policy and Advocacy Officer
Trevor has worked at London TravelWatch since 2018. His role covers policy development, preparing responses to consultations from Transport for London and train operators, and campaigning and advocacy including for London TravelWatch’s bus campaign. Prior to joining London TravelWatch, Trevor worked in various roles in local government and exam administration.
Alex Smith, Head of Campaigns
Alex joined London TravelWatch in 2022 as Head of Campaigns and Advocacy. Before this she worked in advocacy, research and public affairs in a range of policy areas, including consumer rights, employment, welfare and debt.
Sonya Dallat, Head of Communications
Sonya joined London TravelWatch in September 2024 as Head of Communications. Prior to this, Sonya has worked in communications and marketing for a range of organisations, including within local government, the charity sector and higher education.
Luke Muskett, Communications and Operations Officer
Catherine Williams, Administrative Officer
Catherine recently joined the team working part time to provide administrative support. She has worked in various industries providing secretarial support including the Royal College of Midwives, PwC and Freshfields law firm.
Cath’s favourite journey is travelling from home to potter around Blackheath, Greenwich Park and a boat ride up to Embankment or further!
