In January we responded to seven rail consultations and three bus consultations covering six bus routes:
- 19 and 38 bus routes restructure (view our response)
- 259, 279 and 349 bus routes (view our response)
- 424 bus route (view our response)
We also responded to the proposals for transport and highway changes as part of the planned pedestrianisation of Oxford Street. You can read our full response to the plans.
We also submitted evidence to the GLA Transport Committee investigation into road space, driving and congestion in London. London TravelWatch Chief Executive, Michael Roberts, joined a related panel discussion on bus journey times.
We responded to two consultations in Thamesmead (one for a new road, the other proposing bus, cycle and pedestrian improvements). View our responses:
In the coming weeks we’ll be responding to further consultations including proposed bus changes at Meridian Water and changes to bus route 310.

December 2025
In December, we responded to 12 rail consultations as well as Transport for London’s review of taxi (black cab) fares and tariffs. View our response to the taxi fares consultation.
We also submitted evidence to the GLA Police and Crime Committee’s investigation into hate crime and violence against women and girls on public transport in London
In the coming weeks we’ll be finalising our response to the Oxford Street pedestrianisation consultation, and responding to several bus consultations.
November 2025
In November, we responded to four rail consultations and consultations covering three bus routes.
We were particularly concerned about the use of bus stop boarders at some stops on TfL’s proposed new Superloop route SL14. Read our response to the Superloop SL14 consultation. The consultation ends on 5 November, and we expect the response early next year.

We responded to the Transport Select Committee’s inquiry on the Railways Bill. View our full response here.
Back in August we responded to TfL’s proposed Congestion Charge changes, calling for TfL to put sufficient support in place to help those who most need it. We’re pleased that TfL has now decided to provide further support for low-income and disabled residents receiving certain benefits. Find out about the new congestion charge changes
We’ve also previously responded to consultations about the DLR extension to Thamesmead so we were pleased to see this being confirmed in the recent budget – you can view our short statement in response to the budget here.
In the coming weeks we’ll be responding to further consultations including TfL’s proposed changes on Oxford Street and TfL’s review of taxi fares and tariffs.

We also responded to the Capital Call service review. Further to our submission to this consultation (which you can read here), we were pleased that TfL has extended the time before Capital Call closes and is offering travel mentoring to those who need support with the transition.
