Compensation for South Western Railway passengers affected by this month's strike action02 December 2019
The Telegraph reports today that passengers affected by the strike action on South Western Railway services who are forced to queue to board and subsequently miss their trains due to the strikes may not be entitled to compensation.
Passengers have already been inconvenienced and must not suffer further. We would urge those affected to appeal to South Western Railway if they suffer delays against the amended strike timetable and if their claims are turned down they should take it to the Rail Ombudsman.
