*Please note: this consultation has now closed*
c2c have published details of their proposals to reduce ticket offices opening times at 10 of their stations in the London TravelWatch area. London TravelWatch is now consulting passengers on these changes and wants to hear from as many people as possible.
Passengers can comment on the proposals by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or writing to London TravelWatch, Europoint, 5-11 Lavington Street, London, SE1 0NZ by 14 October 2019.
Arthur Leathley, Chair of London TravelWatch said: ‘We want to ensure that passengers can still purchase all the tickets that they need after these proposed changes. Passengers will also want to be reassured that there will be suitable provision of information and security if the reduction in opening hours of ticket offices at these stations goes ahead. We will review the responses we receive from passengers and make a recommendation to the Department for Transport based on these and other information we receive.’
c2c are also consulting on proposals to reduce station ticket office hours at other stations on their route, which is subject to a separate consultation being held by Transport Focus.
