3rd Ruth Thompson memorial lecture on road pricing proves a great success08 November 2018 We were delighted to welcome 50 attendees from a wide range of organisations to our third annual Ruth Thompson memorial lecture on Monday 5 November.
An audience which included transport experts, an Assembly Member and local authority representatives enjoyed a lecture from transport economist, Paul Buchanan, who discussed how road pricing could help to improve the flow of congestion on the UK's roads.
The slides from the event are available on our events page and a summary of the discussion and the tweets relating to #ltwroadpricing will be available there in due course.
The lecture will help inform a major piece of work we will carry out to evaluate the potential impact of congestion charging on different groups of road users. View All News
