London TravelWatch calls on passengers to claim money back for GTR delays25 September 2018
London TravelWatch today calls on season ticket holders to claim their compensation back following the introduction of phase 2 of the Additional Industry Compensation Scheme for passengers affected by the timetable problems on Thameslink and Great Northern. Arthur Leathley, Chair of London TravelWatch, said, ‘Season ticket holders were obviously badly affected by the long period of disruption so, four months on, they must now be compensated as soon as possible for the poor service they had before the summer.’
In order to make a claim, passengers will need to visit GTR’s website and submit a claim by 30 November 2018. The introduction of the second phase of the Additional Industry Compensation Scheme has long been pressed by London TravelWatch, and we are pleased to see it finally being implemented for passengers.
