London TravelWatch has expressed delight at Transport for London (TfL) making its Journey Planner API available. 

Making the Journey Planner API available means that registered developers can include Journey Planner function on apps for mobile devices.

Jo deBank, London TravelWatch said: "Journey Planner is a popular and much-used function for people travelling in London and we are delighted that TfL has opened it up for developers to use for free. This will be a huge benefit for passengers, and we urge rail companies to follow this example and make their journey data available."
