London TravelWatch

Ticket offices and passenger information to be discussed on 18/03/2010

The proposals by South West Trains and Chiltern Railways to reduce or change ticket office opening hours will be discussed by London TravelWatch at its next public meeting on Tuesday 23 March.

The proposals by South West Trains and Chiltern Railways to reduce or change ticket office opening hours will be discussed by London TravelWatch at its next public meeting, to be held at its offices in central London on Tuesday 23 March.

We will also be looking at how National Rail Enquiries (NRES) coped with the adverse weather in December, January and February after concerns that its website and the live departure boards at stations did not perform properly, leaving passengers confused and unaware of emergency timetable changes.

The meeting, open to media and public, will be held on Tuesday 23 March, starting at 9.50 at London TravelWatch’s offices at 6 Middle St, London, EC1A 7JA. We will be discussing NRES at 11.35 and considering our formal response to the ticket office proposals at 12.15.

The full agenda and associated papers are available to download.
