London TravelWatch is advising all passengers to check their routes before they travel during the severe weather currently being experienced in and around London, and forecast to hit London again tonight.
You can keep updated with the latest transport issues by going to the Transport for London website or the National Rail website.
The London Travel Information Line for information on buses, trams, DLR, tubes and is on 0843 222 1234 and National Rail Enquiries can be reached by calling 08453 017 641.
You can find out the situation on the roads by either looking at Highways Agency, TfL, or London Councils
It is also worth looking at or listening to local media news and travel and weather bulletins.
The Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC) has issued a three point plan for train passengers to check on their train service. Using National Rail Enquiries (NRE), the service paid for and run by train companies, passengers can:
- Check the NRE website at National Rail. which includes a dedicated disruption page, live departure boards of train services and journey planners
- Call NRE’s automated train tracker service on 0871 200 49 50, which will give passengers up-to-date information about their services
- Subscribe to NRE Twitter updates at @nationalrailenq.

If you wish to complain about a service, you must first contact the company who operates the train, bus, or other means of transport with which you have a problem. It tells you how to do this on our complaints page.
If you are unhappy with the operator's response, or they fail to respond within a reasonable timescale, you may then appeal to us and we will take up your case.
