Watchdog's public meeting on 23/09/2009
London TravelWatch will be looking at the impact of the recession on London’s transport and travelling public at its next public meeting at City Hall on Tuesday 29 September. We will be joined by Kulveer Ranger, the Mayor’s transport adviser.
We will also be discussing the ongoing works by Network Rail at London Bridge and hearing from First Capital Connect about the Thameslink programme, and whether the economic circumstances are having any impact on these.
We will also look at the interim results from the first months of the trial allowing motorcycles in bus lanes.
London TravelWatch’s board meeting will be held in meeting room 4,City Hall, Queens Walk, London, SE1 2AA beginning at 10.15 and is open to all members of the public and media. We will be looking at the motorcycles in bus lanes trial at 10.50, and discussing the impact of the recession at 11.20, with Kulveer Ranger speaking at 12.05. We will be discussing London Bridge and Thameslink at 14.00.
