Watchdog to discuss Mayor’s transport strategy on 24/06/2009
London TravelWatch will discuss the Mayor’s transport strategy and launch its Annual Review at its next public meeting at City Hall, on Tuesday 30 June 2009, at 10am.
At the meeting, we will be discussing the Mayor’s Transport Strategy statement of intent, and its impact on London’s travelling public. We will also be hearing from Southern about the new South Central franchise, including routes from Victoria and London Bridge through South London and on to Kent and Surrey.
We will also be launching our Annual Review, which sets out our vision for London, looks at our research work during the year, and provides examples of the varied work we have undertaken representing the travelling public, and discusses some of the passenger complaints we have resolved during the last year.
London TravelWatch’s board meeting will be held in the chamber at City Hall, Queens Walk, London, SE1 2AA at 10.00, and open to all members of the press and public. We will be discussing the Mayor’s Transport Strategy at 11.00, the new South Central franchise at 12.00, and launching the Annual Review at 12.45. The meeting will be end at around 13.00
