Remember Circle Line changes, says watchdog
London TravelWatch, the watchdog for transport users in London, is reminding people that from this Sunday, 13 December, the service on the Circle Line will change.
The new service means that the all Circle Line trains travelling clockwise (via Kings Cross) will now start at Hammersmith on the Hammersmith and City Line. From there they will travel to Edgware Road, and then around the full circle to terminate at Edgware Road. Anti-clockwise (via Victoria) Circle Line train will start at Edgware Road, complete the circle and carry on to Hammersmith.
Sharon Grant, Chair, London TravelWatch said: “While this change is radical, we are hopeful that it will make the Circle Line which has struggled with delays and cancellations - more reliable with fewer delays for passengers. We have worked closely with TfL to ensure that clear signage and information is available to passengers, and supported the trials undertaken.
“This could mean uncertainty for some passengers, and we will monitor any issues. We would be delighted to hear from passengers about their experiences of the Circle Line extension.”
Passengers can tell us about their experiences on the new Circle Line at info@londontravelwatch.org.uk
