New MD for London Underground
London TravelWatch has commented on the news that Richard Parry has been made interim MD at London Underground.
Richard Parry has worked closely with his predecessor, Tim O’Toole and has a good understanding of the serious issues which London Underground faces in continuing to improve its performance in difficult financial circumstances. He has worked closely with London TravelWatch, the passenger watchdog, in the past, and we hope this will continue in his new role, as the travelling public’s perspective is vital.
