Join the London Bus Users' Online Community!

Boarding_the_busMembers of our London TravelWatch Bus Users' Online Community can follow us on Twitter to get free information about their local bus services and to be notified when we post a new quarterly newsletter on our website. Members also have the opportunity to provide us with feedback on issues important to them, which we may be able to raise in our dealings with Transport for London.

The London Bus Users’ Online Community ensures that, in light of the amount of redevelopment projects affecting the road network, bus users are informed about the issues affecting their bus services and, especially, that they are given the opportunity to participate in how the service evolves. Since we set up the online community we've had lots of useful feedback from members on a variety of issues.

Issues relating to buses in the capital are particularly important. London Buses carry more than 2.4 billion passengers a year, and more people travel on buses every day than on the London Underground.

In October 2015, our Policy Committee examined bus speeds in London following an analysis of TfL data which reveals the average speed of every bus in London. The accompanying report makes fascinating reading.

Please note: this does not replace the normal complaints process.  If you have a complaint about a bus service you must go to Transport for London first and then if you are not satisfied you may contact us as an appeal. For further details on how to appeal visit our complaints section.
